Dovac B.V. was founded in 2003 by Ruud Dobbe. Ruud had many years of experience with vacuum pumps and blowers of various manufactures. With that experience, he was able to put together an attractive package of blowers, vacuum pumps, liquid ring vacuum pumps, air knives and accessories. The customer base grew rapidly and resulted in strong growth. Moving into premises in Lisse in 2006, Dovac continued to grow steadily.

At the end of 2020, Ruud wanted to step down and Ferry Jansen joined the team. With his expertise, Ferry took the company to an even higher level so that the premises in Lisse soon proved too cramped. We started looking for premises suitable for a larger inventory so that we could better serve our customers. In 2022, we found a beautiful building that is easily accessible due to its central location in Zevenhuizen. We are proud of our modern building that is not only efficient but also energy neutral. The building features a spacious warehouse, workshop and test stand for the assembly and testing of vacuum pumps, vacuum systems and blowers.

Thus, the application is discussed in detail with each client. For example, sometimes measurements must first be taken to choose the right type of vacuum pump or blower. We also make vacuum technical calculations and it is possible to test a pump and or blower. This is often convenient for us new customers because it allows them to experience the operation of the particular pump first.
