Efficient Air Displacement
A side channel blower is a type of fan used to move air or gas. It uses the principle of centrifugal force to move air through the system. In the case of a 1-stage side channel blower overpressure, “1-stage” refers to the number of stages or phases of the blower, and “overpressure” means that the system moves air or gas under pressure, where the pressure on the outlet side is higher than on the inlet side.
The use of a single stage in the DOVAC side channel blower implies that the air or gas is compressed only once before it is expelled. This may be suitable for applications requiring moderate overpressure. Choosing a specific type of blower depends on factors such as the air pressure required, the volume to be moved, environmental conditions and system requirements.
